Back to School Giveaway!!!!

I'm hosting a giveaway!!!!!!!! This giveaway has nothing to do with Back to School in the sense you're thinking....no school supplies here exactly...but I figured so many of you blogghettes are mamas who are winding down the Summer and sending your babies back to school, or some of you are teachers who are back to the grind....regardless of who you are, we all deserve a little surcie for surviving the Summer heat!!!!

I am giving away a pair of Original Pearl Branch earrings by the lovely and beautiful Margaret Dodge Farish herself!!! She has the most adorable Etsy store so RUN over there and look at all of her other goodies!!!! Margaret and I have known each other since we were weeee ones so I am so incredibly proud to see her cultivate such a wonderful and amazing talent!!! She has a rare gift!!



These are a really neat update to the typical pearls that we like to exchange out every now and then.....

    Beautiful earrings! I'm a follower! The thing I'm going to miss the most about summer is weariong summer clothes. I hate having to wear a coat/jacket!

    I'm going to miss beach trips, summer dresses, & my tan once summers over! Must say that I'll be welcoming in cooling temperatures though.

    I will miss the extra time my husband has around the house during summer. I will NOT miss the hot humid days...although, we'll still have them long into Fall down here along the Gulf Coast!

    Ooooh, I love! Hmmm, what am I going to miss about summer? Warm weather. Humidity. Sitting on my porch, reading a book. Riding the golf cart around the neighborhood after work. Riding bicycles to the pier for ice cream. Laying on the beach. Surfing without a wet suit. Taking dips in the ocean after work. Wearing light clothes to work. Sunshine. My tan. Can you tell summer is my favorite? I despise winter with a passion!

    I will miss
    - fireflies
    - LONG Summer days and all that sunlight
    - fresh produce and berries of all kinds at the local farmstands
    - sitting outside with my friends, enjoying each other's company & conversation
    - wearing sandals
    - light clothing in pretty, vibrant colors
    - sitting on the beach reading a book, hearing the ocean & gulls, and kids playing in the sand
    - sunshine & the warmth it brings
    - fresh flowers, green leaves on trees, the smell of freshly-mown lawns
    - windows wide open while I sleep
    - Perseid meteor showers
    - driving with sunroof open
    Can you tell that Spring & Summer are my favorite seasons? I am reluctant to see Summer end.
